In the east we see her rise,
Her light so bright we shade our eyes
Her rays of red and gold alights
The sky from dark to bright
The glory of her wings unfurled,
Caress and touch our tender world.
Her streaming rays reach out to all,
Her radiance fills our hearts so full
With arms outstretched she hails the sun
Bringing light and life to everyone.
